Saudade Exhibit
I’m happy to announce my first solo exhibit — entitled “Saudade” – taking place in the Piper Gallery (main level) at Cary Memorial Library in Lexington, Massachusetts, during the month of December 2012. The Portuguese word “saudade” describes a deep, nostalgic longing for something or someone that one loves but that is now gone. I find myself drawn to creating images that capture a sense of saudade — a wistfulness for places tied to the past, and hanging precariously onto the present.
Check out the Saudade Exhibit Portfolio to see what’s on display. If you’re in the area, I invite you to stop by the library during December to view the gallery in person — and don’t forget to sign the Guest Book!
All pictures from the Saudade exhibit are available for purchase, framed or unframed.
- Unframed: 11?x14? archival chromogenic photographic print on Kodak Professional Endura Premier Paper (known for image stability), matted in 16?x20? archival, museum-quality mat using acid-free materials
- Framed: same as above, framed in 16?x20? black wood frame, ready for hanging
